Rolling Stones
We have been listening to the Rolling Stones in class lately and I still don't like them. I feel like they're The Beatles want to bees. They almost sound as like they copied their 4th album. Maybe they did or the Rolling Stones took influences from The Beatles. Oh well they SUCK!
My Homies Still - Lil Wayne ft. Big Sean
To start off I don't like this song at all it sucks. Just like a guy said in the comment section "I must be on the shit side of YouTube again" I agree with them because the song makes no sense I don't know what they're talking about it has no influence in me. The only good thing the song has is basically the catchy phrase that Lil Wayne keeps saying "My Homies Still". Like what happen'd to the old Wayne, he sucks now. Listen to it for yourself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_yVRZMFbLc

Rubber Soul - The Beatles
We've been listening to this album in class and it's actually a pretty decent album. People thought that The Beatles didn't really put much effort into this album because they thought that The Beatles didn't really put too much effort into it. But then people went back to listen to the album and they saw that it was a really good album. Famous artists now a days actually are influenced by types of albums like this and they actually go back and listen to it. My favorite song in this album is "Another Girl" because it has really good lyrics to it and also the beat to the song is great. The Beatles also decided to leave their wifes and girlfriends out of this so they could actually try to make a really good put into effort album.
Amen - Meek Mill
I've been listening to this song lately because it has pretty good lyrics and also the song has a meaning to it. The meaning to the song is saying that he's thankful for everything that God gave him as you can see the songs name is Amen. Except you wouldn't listen to this song like at a church or any good place like that because the song has really bad curse words and shows a bad influence on people. But the guy is basically saying that he got it all after what hes been through and God helped him get there. Things he got were basically what rappers like which are bitches, hoes, money, weed, etc. The song also features another famous rapper "Drake" he also has a good verse. I would post the link but I unfortunately can't at school.

Help - The Beatles
The movies we have been watching in class is pretty funny on how they are chasing a guy for a ring. Just so they could take over the world. But also whats great in the movie is how they play music while doing so. But overall a great movie.
Changes - 2Pac
This song means a lot to the rapping community because it talks about a lot of things that show how this world is messed up. It talks about welfare, racism, and hate and 2Pac wants to change that. Talks about how he wants to help make changes because there kind of is no point of living in a world full of hate. Also talks about the poor because some people don't want to and are greedy. But yeah overall talks about how people should like each other and help make changes and not have a messed up world. Here's the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXvBjCO19QY

A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles
In class we have been listening to The Beatles which was released July 10, 1964 and in less than eighteen monts was to coincide with the cinema opening of their first movie. They actually wrote all their tracks to the album at least they say they did. My favorite single by them is "I Want To Hold Your Hand" because it has good rhytim to it I like songs with great beats to them I could really care less about the lyrics the thing that actually gets me moving is the beat to the song for example stomping your feet up and down to the song. This song actually topped the US charts for about 7 weeks, almost impossible to do right. Heres the link to the song -
Invincible - MGK
This song is actually pretty good, MGK put a different style to this song. He usually would do songs that would pump you up and make you rage but this song was more quiet. This song actually premiered on Wrestlemania 28 i'm not a big fan of wrestling but I know that he went big by making his song on WWE because they're a big company and could possibly get a bigger fan base by doing so. Heres the link to the video -

The Rolling Stones
They are pretty much a boring band if you ask me, I would know more about them but they suck. And I like rock but they sound like they put no effort in to their music unlike The Beatles.
Wild Boy Remix - MGK
This song is pretty much what it sounds like, it's a pump up song the beat and the lyrics they use in the song pump me up. The funny thing is that he's only a mix-tape artist at the moment, he's about to release his first album in October 9th it's called "Lace Up". He actually got signed by P. Diddy; Bad Boy/Interscope Records. The rappers that are featured in this video are 2 Chainz, Meek Mills, Mystikal, French Montana, Yo Gotti, and Steve-O these are some really famous rappers while MGK isn't mainstream yet hes an underrated mix-tape artist. Here's the link to the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-w4-BkugIg Explicit Content... Lace Up.

Swang Remix - Trae
This song is remixed by famous Houston rappers; Trae, Big Pokey, Pimp C, Slim Thug, Jim Jones, Mike Jones, Hawk, Bun B, and Paul Wall. They decided to not go famous nationally, but just to rap for their state and their city; Houston, TX, Home of the Playas and Pimps. The reason that they did that was cause they feel like other rappers out there are fake and don't actually do what they say they do in their songs. These guys also come out the hood so you know they rap about poverty, drugs, and murder. Swang is a thing you do with your car but it has to be a S.L.A.B (Slow Loud And Bangin) as you can see in the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SB8NPiAxDyY
Documentary - The Beatles
It was such a funny documentary just seeing their fans go crazy for them, cause it was their first time ever seeing The Beatles in the United States. They sounded like they were a horde of zombies attracted to music, not flesh. Also it was crazy cause they couldn't even get out of the hotel they were staying at cause there was a "horde of zombies" outside. But overall it was a great documentary cause it showed were they played at and how they were on a tonight show with that creepy guy.

Please Please Me - The Beatles
It was written by John Lennon but it was credited by Lennon McCartney. It was recorded on November 26th, 1962. They actually released the album on January 11, 1963 the album actually stayed on top of the charts for 30 weeks! The album itself is great first time "actually" listening to The Beatles. My favorite song by them is Ask Me Why - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OKsR0dZQD0 The whole album - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPPbnB5Gs4s
Pop That - French Montana
This is just your normal average song that you would dance to. Some of the lyrics actually have to do with twerking and popping that so there is butt shaking. The song has the vibe to dancing and I feel like it can just get anybody to dance to this song with out the lyrics; instrumental. Funny thing is that there is a controversy that the song was actually created in spring 2010 by DJChose & BrookGangMusic Starring Slim Thug & Billy Sorrells. But i'm guessing that they didn't copyright the beat/song so it was free to take by French Montana. French Montana's version -

Johnny B Good - Chuck Berry
I honestly don't know a lot about Chuck Berry but I like his Johnny B Good which was featured in the film: Back to the Future. That's the only time I had ever heard his song but I thought it was really good. The song was a major hit among both black and white audiences peaking at #2 on Billboard magazine's Hot R&B Sides chart and #8 on the Billboard Top 10. The song is one of Chuck Berry's most famous recordings, has been covered by many artists, and has received several honors and accolades. It is also considered to be one of the most recognizable songs in music history.

Sorry 4 The Wait - Lil Wayne
Sorry 4 The Wait is a mix-tape that was made because his album Tha Carter IV was pushed back numerous times so he wanted to apologize to his fans by making a great mix-tape, I honestly think it's better than the album. By they way mix-tapes are free so who doesn't like free music. For Lil Wayne , sorry is more than just a five letter word. Weezy's apologies now come in the form of 12-track mix-tapes. The tracks that are on the mix-tape are Tunechi’s Back, Rollin’, Throwed Off (Feat Gudda Gudda), Gucci Gucci, Marvin’s Room, Sure Thing, Grove St. Party (Feat Lil B), Racks, Hands Up, Sorry 4 The Wait, Inkredible (Feat Thugga, Dizzy, Lil Flo & T@), Run The World. These are some really sick beats that Weezy freestyled on fast and slow beats. I think this was one of his best mix-tapes since Dedication 3 it was worth the free download. http://www.datpiff.com/Lil-Wayne-Sorry-4-The-Wait-mixtape.250654.html
